  Despite increasing the OS limitations and setting large values for _pga_max_size and _smm_max_size, the query goes to disk after using  ~2GB of memory in workareas for hash join operations in serial mode.

  Is there any method available to allow to a single process acquire 10 GB or more of process memory for large hash join operations?
