ORA-604 AND ORA-904 AFTER INSTALLING PATCH 18101696 (Doc ID 2072853.1)

Symptoms

In a Data Guard configured environment for Oracle 11.2.0.4, the patch for bug 18101696 was recently applied to the standby, and as result the following errors are now being reported from the physical standby database (along with a trace file from the dbrm process):

Errors in file /<path>/diag/rdbms/<db_name>/<oracle_sid>/trace/<oracle_sid>_dbrm_<pid>.trc:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-00904: "DBMS_RMIN"."RM$_GET_MAPPINGS_HASH": invalid identifier

 

Changes

 The patch for bug 18101696 was recently applied to the standby.
