12.1:While Installing PSU, datapatch Fails with Error “DBD::Oracle::db selectcol_arrayref failed: ORA-00936: missing expression” (Doc ID 2080049.1)

Symptoms

While Installing latest PSU for database 12.1.0.1,  datapatch fails during execution.

After the patch is successfully installed on the binary level in oracle_home , datapatch script executed on the node fails with following error message

 

Changes

 Applying the  PSU 12.1.0.1.9 Patch 21352619 on top of DB PSU (12.1.0.1.4)
