Purpose

This document provides steps to clear preserved cache on a disk in Bios screen on a Oracle Big Data Appliance (BDA) Hardware X5-2 and higher. 

The steps here show how to clear preserved cache on the RAID Controller.  They clear a disk's Preserved Cache on it's RAID HBA during Boot in Bios Screen on Oracle Big Data Applicance Hardware X5-2 and Higher.
