AIX: Nsto.o file is missing from ORACLE_HOME/lib/libn10.a after apply patch 6017068 (Doc ID 2097280.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 24, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version and later
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)

On : version, Patching

After apply patch 6017068 , It looks like to miss object file(nsto.o) from archiving file($ORACLE_HOME/lib/libn10.a) on AIX.

How to check the object was missing from archiving file?

The different numbers of nsto.o from "$ORACLE_HOME/lib/libn10.a" and "$ORACLE_HOME/lib32/libn10.a".

Expected result:

[oracle@cordb02p:/oracle/product/10.2.0/db/lib32] ar -tv libn10.a |wc -l

Incredulous result:

[oracle@cordb02p:/oracle/product/10.2.0/db/lib] ar -tv libn10.a |wc -l
