Symptoms

Different problems related to in-memory table are encountered on 12.1.0.2.



Symptom 1:

The Space job Wnnn process crashed while repopulating an in-memory table with an ORA-7445[lmebucp()+28] error.

The Call Stack Trace in the associated incident trace file shows:

 

Symptom 2:

An in-Memory query returns a wrong value on a specific column.   The wrong result can be avoided after the in-memory table is repopulated.

Changes

The 12.1.0.2.4 DBBP (database bundle patch) or later is applied on top of 12.1.0.2.
