Most of the SYSAUX tablespace is consumed by partitions of tables WRH$_LATCH, WRH$_SYSSTAT, and WRH$_PARAMETER within the SYS schema, as seen from the output of the awrinfo.sql script.
There are no recent changes. The excess consumption of space within the SYSAUX tablespace has accumulated over time.
