Dbms_audit_mgmt.clean_audit_trail Purges Unexpected Audit Records When Using Last Archive Timestamp
(Doc ID 2100923.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 12.1.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When executing Dbms_audit_mgmt.Clean_audit_trail () with parameter use_last_arch_timestamp => true,
we expect that all audit records older than the specified timestamp will be removed from the audit trail.
For example, let's say we have following audit trail, and last archive timestamp is set to
"2016/01/05 09:29:08.538915". We expect only the first audit record to be removed.
