RDBPROD: How to identify user defined events in Rdb RMU/SHOW Statistics (Doc ID 210427.1)

Last updated on APRIL 14, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Rdb Server on OpenVMS - Version 7.0 and later
HP OpenVMS VAX
HP OpenVMS Alpha

Goal

DBA's can use RMU/SHOW STATISTICS to assist in designing custom applications that trap certain database events. Not all the fields in RMU/SHOW Statistic can be user defined events, but most fields are candidates.  Any field on an RMU/SHOW STATISTICS screen that contains the Yank (Y) option on the bottom of the menu display can be used as a user defined event.
