Datapump import of tables from 10g (10.2.0.4) into a 12c database (22.214.171.124) reports ORA-28344: "fails to decrypt data" for tables with encrypted columns, e.g.:
1 row(s) were rejected with the following error:
ORA-28344: fails to decrypt data
The DDL of the table shows that the column is encrypted as below:
CREATE TABLE USER.TABLENAME
COL1 VARCHAR2(19 BYTE) ENCRYPT USING 'AES192' NO SALT,
COL2 VARCHAR2(19 BYTE) ENCRYPT USING 'AES192' NO SALT,
The encryption wallet is open in both source and destination and no issues are found related to security or wallets.
