Truncate Table Hanging on "gc current request" Wait (Doc ID 2104793.1)

Symptoms

Truncate table is hanging for a long time with wait event gc current request.

 

Changes

This can happen in an ODA configuration sharing flash storage such as the X5-2 across two nodes which may be enabled by default when you create a database.
This may also happen on other servers sharing FLASH storage across two or more nodes, but is very rare outside of the ODA configuration
