Symptoms

Select statement fails with an ORA-3113 on the client side and errors like below in the alert log:

Exception [type: SIGSEGV, Address not mapped to object] [ADDR:0xB38F000000005D] [PC:0x109D56030, kxhrInit()+144] [flags: 0x0, count: 1]
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kxhrInit()+144] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0xB38F000000005D] [PC:0x109D56030] [Address not mapped to object] []

The call stack in the trace file includes functions like below:

... kxhrInit qerhjInitializeManagementComponentsPostLeft qerhjFetch qergsFetch opifch2 kpoal8 opiodr ...
