Upgrade to BDA V4.4 Fails on Step 6 Installing BDA Software on the Cluster with "Mysql::Refreshmysqlpasswords/Refreshpassword[oozie_db]" (Doc ID 2116447.1)

Symptoms

When upgrading to BDA V4.4, Step 6 of the upgrade fails with:

ERROR: Puppet script either timed out or ended with error on one or more nodes
ERROR: Nodes that failed are: , bdanode02, bdanode03
INFO: Pinging puppet agents ..
INFO: Puppet agent run on node bdanode01 completed successfully.
INFO: Check the log file in /opt/oracle/BDAMammoth/bdaconfig/tmp/pagent-bda1node01-<timestamp>.log

Other symptoms show:

1. It is possible to log into MySQL with: mysql -uroot -p'######' and all the oozie@hosts/localhost have the same password as expected i.e.
