Goal

This document provides details on how to setup encrypted communication between HiveServer2(HS2) and Jdbc Client on a Secure CDH Cluster on Oracle Big Data Appliance (BDA) .

In order to access HS2 using SSL, first TLS/SSL needs to be enabled for HS2 in Cloudera Manager(CM) by following instructions in the below document.
