Copying Datafiles Using ASMCMD fails with ASMCMD-8016, ORA-17628, error 19505

Two node GI and RDBMS.

Attempts to copy ASM based datafiles from one cluster to another are failing on one of the destination nodes.
ASMCMD cp commands to destination node1, diskgroup DATA are working.
ASMCMD cp commands to destination node2, diskgroup DATA are failing with ASMCMD-8016, ORA-17628, error 19505 returned.

asmcmd cp --port 1521 +DATA/data1/datafile/workattach_tbs_080.dbf sys/test1@node2.+ASM2:+DATA/data1/datafile/workattach_tbs_080.dbf

copying +DATA/data1/datafile/workattach_tbs_080.dbf -> node2:+DATA/data1/datafile/workattach_tbs_080.dbf
ASMCMD-8016: copy source '+DATA/data1/datafile/workattach_tbs_080.dbf' and target '+DATA/data1/datafile/workattach_tbs_080.dbf' failed
