ORA-01017 with DRDA Gateway (Doc ID 2129623.1)

When attempting a connection to a DB2400 database on AS400 using Database Gateway for DRDA (DG4DRDA), an ORA-1017 error is encountered.

The following is seen in the DG4DRDA gateway trace file:
