Symptoms
Database creation using the DBCA (Database Configuration Assistant) failed with an ORA-600[kgh_get_java_access_ptr: filled sparse array] error raised in the MMAN (Memory Manager) process which terminated the instance.
The Call Stack Trace in the associated incident trace file shows:
The error was seen with SGA_TARGET=1G, but not after having increased it to 2G.
