ODA: INFRA upgrade to 12.1.2.6.0 failed during reboot: VFS Unable To Open Root Device "VolGroupSys/LogVolRoot" (Doc ID 2145985.1)

The workaround for the issue ramdisk corruption during oda 12.1.2.5->12.1.2.6 or 12.1.2.6->12.1.2.7 infra upgrade stage and system cannot boot up.

Symptoms

For customers upgrading from 12.1.2.6 -> 12.1.2.7 hitting similar issue. They could boot into the old kernel and fix the issue by doing step 17.

Upgrading OAK infra to 12.1.2.6.0 and the server is now stuck in reboot loop
Detail message found on the console:

If we can check the upgrade logs we can find: gzip: stdout: No space left on device in the upgrade logs.

Changes

Upgrading from 12.1.2.5 -> 12.1.2.6

or Upgrade from 12.1.2.6->12.1.2.7
