Symptoms
SQL*Plus in Oracle 12.1.0.2 32-bit client fails to start on Red Hat 7 with a core dump.

oracle@redhat7-> sqlplus /nolog
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Able to run sqlplus from 12.1.0.1 32-bit DB client and 12.1.0.2 DB 64-bit installations perfectly fine on the same server without issues.
Changes
New installation of Oracle 12.1.0.2 32-bit client on RHEL 7.
