Hue Misconfiguration After Upgrade To 4.5.0/CDH 5.7.0 on Hive and Impala

Symptoms
After upgrade from Mammoth 4.2.0/CDH 5.4.4 to 4.5.0/CDH 5.7.0 errors are seen in the Hue WebUI:
Potential misconfiguration detected. Fix and restart Hue.
Hive - The application won't work without a running HiveServer2.
Impala - No available Impalad to send queries to.

Hive -
On clicking on hive editor, the following error message pops up at the top right corner of the page.
Certificate Authority ca_certs file "" is not readable, cannot validate SSL certificates.
Pig -
Certificate Authority ca_certs file "" is not readable, cannot validate SSL certificates.
Metastore Tables -
Certificate Authority ca_certs file "" is not readable, cannot validate SSL certificates.
Sentry Tables –
