Failed PSU Application Results in Missing and Zero Length Binaries (Doc ID 2150021.1)

Successfully upgraded Grid Infrastructure to After this started applying the April PSU for During the apply process a hardware issue caused the server to go down. After bringing the server back online not able to start the CRS stack to bring up grid infrastructure. Investigation revealed that several files were missing or empty in the GI home bin directory.


Expect that the installation should pick up where it left off.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Upgrade to12.1.0.2
2. Apply current PSU and experience a hardware issue resulting in the server going down.
3. Bring server up and then not be able to start CRS stack.


The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot start CRS stack after failure during PSU patching of GI home.


 Upgraded to and then during application process for April PSU server failure.
