On BDA V4.5/CDH 5.7.1 "bdacli enable bdd" Fails on Step 1 with "ERROR: Number of processing units available in bdanode05 should be at least four" (Doc ID 2153498.1)

Big Data Appliance Integrated Software - Version 4.5.0 to 4.5.0 [Release 4.5]
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

Running "bdacli enable bdd" to install BDD 1.2.2 on BDA V4.5/CDH 5.7.1 fails on Step 1 with:

ERROR: Number of processing units available in bdanode05 should be at least four
ERROR: Cannot continue with operation #Step -1#

Running the command "ssh bdanode05.example.com grep -c cores /proc/cpuinfo" from Node 1 returns a Linux banner something like below.

Output when "ERROR: Number of processing units available in bdanode05 should be at least four" is raised looks like:

#ssh bdanode05 grep -c cores /proc/cpuinfo

################################################################################

# <SOME INFORMATION> #

# Unauthorized access is not allowed, all logins are logged due the security #

################################################################################

72

Mammoth expects output without the banner like:

# ssh bdanode05.example.com grep -c cores /proc/cpuinfo

72

The generic command to run is "ssh <FQDN Node 5> grep -c cores /proc/cpuinfo". The number of cores returned will differ with BDA hardware version.
