Creating Own Advisor Data Colleciton from the .jar File. (Doc ID 2153499.1)

Goal

To create custom advisors it is possible to modify the .xml file out of the mysql-etools-agent-3.0.15.3058.jar

> cd /tmp/
> cp /Applications/mysql/enterprise/agent/lib/mysql-etools-agent-3.0.15.3058.jar .
> jar -xvf mysql-etools-agent-3.0.15.3058.jar
created: META-INF/
inflated: META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
created: META-INF/com/
created: META-INF/com/mysql/
created: META-INF/com/mysql/etools/
created: META-INF/com/mysql/etools/agent/

> find . -name '*.xml'
./com/mysql/etools/agent/collection/custom/items-mysql-cluster.xml
./com/mysql/etools/agent/collection/custom/items-mysql-monitor.xml

Those are the default advisors. Create a new xml with the rules to update and import it. Afterwards it is possible make a copy of the default advisor with the updated data item and disable the default.
