Symptoms

Upgrade from BDA V4.4 to BDA V4.5 (with BDD 1.1.1 enabled) fails on Step 6 as below:

Additional Symptoms:

1. bdanode01-<TIMESTAMP>.log show a problem on Node 5 only:

ERROR: Puppet agent run on node bdanode05 had errors. List of errors follows
INFO: Also check the log file in /opt/oracle/BDAMammoth/bdaconfig/tmp/pagent-bdanode05-<TIMESTAMP>.log

 

2. pagent-bdanode0<x>-<TIMESTAMP>.log (where x is anything but 5) shows all copies from /opt/oss/src/CDH/5.7.0-ol5 are successfully completed. 

For example:
