Configuring Exadata for Direct NFS with RDMA (Doc ID 2169148.1)

Purpose

 

Beginning with Exadata release 12.1.2.3, Oracle has announced support for Direct NFS over RDMA RPC (DNFS/RDMA).

Enabling DNFS/RDMA in your Exadata environment may provide significant performance improvements for Oracle RMAN database backup and restore workloads. 

Please refer to this note in order to configure and enable DNFS/RDMA.
