Symptoms
AWR snapshots on your database are configured to take place hourly, at the top of each hour. In the course of your workday, you happen to have taken two snapshots manually:
- 11:05 AM (snapshot ID 10940)
- 12:40 PM (snapshot ID 10942)
Even though manual snapshot was taken at 11:05 AM, the automatic AWR snapshot at noon (snapshot ID 10941) was still created. However, after the 12:40 PM manual snapshot, the AWR snapshot at 1:00 PM was bypassed, and the next automatic snapshot didn't occur until 2:00 PM.
