In most cases, typing “hostname” and “nslookup <hostname>” at the OS prompt will display OSB’s interpretation of the name and IP address. There are situations, specifically those when a host has multiple names, aliases and/or IP addresses, that observiced won’t initialize during install. The purpose of this document to help diagnose and fix problems in these situations.
