Symptoms
The listener is running and is handling connection requests. However, the LSNRCTL stop command fails to stop the listener and yields the following error:
TNS-12545 TNS: Host or object does not exist
IBM/AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 68: Cannot Assign Requested Address
Changes
Since the listener was last started a change to either the loopback address or the IPv6 interface was changed.
