Unable to Access SES Admin Page, Schedules Tab After Configuring High Availability and OPSS And LDAP Providers (Doc ID 2183373.1)

Symptoms

After configuring Oracle SES with an LDAP provider as the User identity store and a database as the OPSS security store the access to the SES Admin page fails when accessing the Schedules tab.

Error:

Error: oracle.as.scheduler.SchedulerUserAssertionException: Failed to authenticate user <username> from the idstore. Please make sure <username> is a valid user in the idstore configured in jps-config.xml.

Other similar message may occur for other access or commands. Generally the messages will be related to

a. The LDAP users that have been configured for SES administration.

b. The FUSION_APPS_SEARCH_APPID credential.

 

Changes

 Changed the configuration to support High Availability as described in the documentation for Post Installation step 6b,
