ORA-12805 on different select statements were seen in the alert log, usually preceded or followed by "ORA-00700: soft internal error, arguments: [kskvmstatact: excessive swapping observed]" errors.  Normally in order to infer a cause-and-effect relationship, the errors have to occur fairly close together.  In this case, the ORA-12805 was seen some 34 minutes after the first ORA-700 and about 15 min. before the second ORA-700.
