TTCheck utility failing with TT7001 error (Doc ID 2187528.1)

We tested below scenario  in both Windows and Linux envrionment

1) Installed Timesten software as Timesten OS user.
2) Create a new user ttadminuser and assign the same Timesten group to the user
3) Logged to the server using ttadminuser user and could able to access ttisql session like below

ttisql dsn=test;uid=<UID>;pwd=<PASSWORD>;

4) When we accessed ttcheck it is failing with below error

ttcheck dsn=test;uid=<UID>;pwd=<PASSWORD>;

Error identified in [ttCheck.c: line 1150]

(Error 7001): TT7001: User authentication failed -- file "db.c", lineno 9800,
procedure "sbDbConnect"

When we logged in as Timesten used and ran ttcheck it went fine

ttcheck -v 2 dsn=test;uid=<UID>;pwd=<PASSWORD>
Checking tables...
Checking table SYS.TABLES...
Checking table SYS.COLUMNS...
Checking table SYS.INDEXES...
Checking table SYS.TBL_STATS...

The problem is observed with ttcheck utility when  accessed from an OS user other than instance admin OS user.
