MySQL 5.6 Audit Plugin Account Filtering Using Wildcards

How is auditing filtered when using wildcards? For example:
Login from localhost with userA@% and userB@%, these accounts appear not to be audited, but mysql@localhost is audited when logged in and perform DDL or DML.
