Symptoms
- One or more RAC instances go into an apparent hang state with wait time on wait event, 'latch: row cache objects', which could only be resolved by an instance restart
- Use of the diagnostic technique described in <Document 1550722.1> indicates that the latch belongs to the "dc_users" parameter.
- The database application makes references to CURRENT_SCHEMA in any of a variety of possible methods:
