Oracle Binary File Size and Checksum is Different for Same Patching Level on Cluster (Doc ID 2215034.1)

Symptoms

'opatch lsinventory -all_nodes' command shows warning stating that the binary and checksum do not match.

Oracle File size and checksum value is different across nodes. This can be in GRID_HOME or RDBMS_HOME.

Example :-

1ST NODE 
[oracle@rac12t1 lib]$ ll $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle*
-rwsr-s--x 1 oracle oinstall 324146572 Dec 12 16:39 /opt/db/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/dbhome_1/bin/oracle

2nd NODE 
[oracle@rac12t2 lib]$ ll $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle*
-rwsr-s--x 1 oracle oinstall 324146605 Dec 12 16:41 /opt/db/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/dbhome_1/bin/oracle
