(Doc ID 2217830.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2018
Applies to:Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 188.8.131.52 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
1) We are required to use SNI in our HTTP connections so that there is a server_name extension added to the Client Hello message as shown below:
Type: server_name (0x0000)
Server Name Indication extension
Server Name list length: 27
Server Name Type: host_name (0)
Server Name length: 24
Server Name: xxxx.xxx.xxx.xx
How do we add this when using APEX_WEB_SERVICE.make_rest_request?
2) Accessing web service through HTTPS fails with ORA-29259 error or ORA-28860 error. The server is SNI enabled.
Is this feature SNI supported by UTL_HTTP?
