Errors in the Alert Log: ORA-7445[kgscFreeCachedCursor()+239] ORA-3135

Symptoms

The following errors occurred once in the alert log:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kgscFreeCachedCursor()+239] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x7FAC01010109] [PC:0x503553F] [Address not mapped to object] []
ORA-03135: connection lost contact

 

The associated incident trace file shows there is no failing SQL statement:

This error is also seen when unified audit policies are enabled. More specifically, when "alter session" standard action is audited.
