Symptoms
In a cluster all nodes except one take normal time for start up, all start phases are executed more or less in parallel. But one node completes start phase 2 only after all the nodes reached the "started" state.
Having a cluster with 4 datanodes, 3 of the datanodes starting up very quickly (aprox. 30 minutes) all stat phases executed more or less in parallel. The 4th (nodeid=6) node completing Start phase 2 only after all the nodes reached the "started" state.
In the problematic node out log the following entries may be seen:
Looks like the datanode was not restored from LCP/REDO log, but by copying fragments from other nodes.
