Session gets -901 during DP4DRDA query of large table and AS400 joblog shows out of space message MCH0601 (Doc ID 2225569.1)

Symptoms

User session gets -901 SQLCODE on AS400 when selecting from large table, and setup is working fine when selecting data from other tables.

Connection is from DB2 on AS400 iSeries v7.2, through "Oracle Database Provider for DRDA" (DP4DRDA) 12.1.0.2 running on Linux x86-64,
to Oracle 12.1.0.2.160119 Database (w/ Jan 2016 DB PSU patch 21948354) on Linux x86-64.

After they granted privilege for Collection "QSQL400" to user TESTAR last month, they were then able to BIND the AS400 packages named QSQCLIPx,
per Solution A in Doc ID 2179330.
