During manual upgrade of database to 12.1 on Windows platform, below error message is received -

catcon: See C:\app\b2patso3\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1\diagnostics/catupgrd_*.lst files for spool files, if any
open2: IO::Pipe: Can't spawn-NOWAIT: No such file or directory at line 470
