Symptoms

When trying to apply a GI PSU, receive the following error:

Parameter Validation: Successful

System Configuration Collection failed: oracle.osysmodel.driver.sdk.productdriver.ProductDriverException: oracle.osysmodel.driver.sdk.productdriver.ProductDriverException: Failed to fetch host name    <=====
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.IOException: Stream closed

opatchauto failed with error code 1. 

This error has been seen by certain customers in all Opatch releases from 12.1.0.1.7 up to and including 12.2.0.1.8
