Goal
In MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) besides the possibility to have MEM users created locally, it's possible to have the user being authenticated externally, using LDAP or Active Directory.

In the document, we will explain how to setup MEM to authenticate using LDAP (please note that Oracle does not support the setting up of the LDAP service it self, please contact your LDAP Service Provider or sysadmin, for the how to manager LDAP)
