Symptoms
From an Oracle 12.1.0.2 database when establishing a connection to SQL Server 2014 through Database Gateway for SQL Server 12.1.0.2 the connection hangs during a fetch
As a part of integrating Oracle Database with SQL Server, 1000 jobs for data loading were started in Oracle which opened cursors through the database link and fetched 600 records.
At the end, 10-20 processes were hung (total processes was 1000) . The Oracle sessions are in wait "HS message to agent".
