MGMTDB admistration using SRVCTL (Doc ID 2236247.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 28, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 12.1.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

PRKO-2002 is reported while administering -MGMTDB database using SRVCTL commands.

Example:

[grid@t1 ~]$ srvctl status database -db -MGMTDB
PRKO-2388 : Command line option -db should be followed by a value.
PRKO-2002 : Invalid command line option: -MGMTDB

[grid@t1 ~]$ srvctl start database -db -MGMTDB
PRKO-2388 : Command line option -db should be followed by a value.
PRKO-2002 : Invalid command line option: -MGMTDB

This is not a bug, PRKO-2002 is expected while trying to administer MGMTDB using regular srvctl syntax.
