Details
Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2.0.4) and Oracle Database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.2) for SAP applications are supported on Amazon AWS EC2 instances (AWS EC2, not on AWS RDS) subject to the following:
- Oracle Linux 6 (minimum Update 4) or Oracle Linux 7 is required as the guest OS.
- Only single instance (non-Real Application Clusters) configurations of the Oracle Database are supported.
- Oracle Database 12c Multitenant Option is not supported.
- Oracle Database In-Memory is not supported.
