Reimaging a Server Where bdacheckcluster Reports "Wrong internal USB device () : 0" Fails with "Internal USB device not found. Exiting." (Doc ID 2250761.1)

Symptoms

If a server for which bdacheckcluster reports:

WARNING: Wrong internal USB device () : 0
INFO: Expected internal USB device () : 1

needs to be reimaged, reimaging following Oracle Big Data Appliance Base Image Version 4.5.0 for New Installations or Reprovisioning Existing Installations on Oracle Linux 5 (Doc ID 2174219.1) may fail.

The failure will be present in the reimage "/tmp/reimage-rack-prepare-usb.out" log and show:

<private IP of server>: set: Can not change parameter when configured for host managed.
<private IP of server>:
<private IP of server>: -> Session closed
<private IP of server>: Disconnected
<private IP of server>: Erasing data disk partitions
<private IP of server>: Internal USB device not found. Exiting.
