Symptoms
After a few days of starting the TNS Listener, running "lsnrctl status" does not work.
Initial start:
Connections are working through this listener and ps -ef |grep tnslsnr shows the listener is running.
The Listener cannot be stopped and the process itself has to be killed.
Changes
This may be a new installation on Linux (for example, Redhat 7) when an original installation on Redhat 5 was working without issues.
