(Doc ID 2255355.1)

Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance Software - Version 12.1.0.1.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When troubleshooting an Unprotected Data or Recovery Window it is recommended to gather the RESTORE_RANGE_REFRESH traces.
1. We have seen issues where the Unprotected Data window shows N/A. Development's explanation is:
- Whenever ra_disk_restore_range returns no rows, the unprotected data window will be set to N/A (ie, NULL).
- If ra_disk_restore_range returns at least one row, the unprotected data window will never be NA (regardless of the state of log shipping). At worst, it might display a very large value.
