Purpose

The purpose is to provide additional information and examples for the more common options of the getXML functionality within the XML-SQL Utility.

XML-SQL Utility for Java - (getXML)
***********************************
For anyone needing to obtain data in a XML format but is not familiar with Java or the API, the XML SQL Utility for Java may be an appropriate tool. The OracleXML utility is implemented by executing the OracleXML class, but before doing so the CLASSPATH environment variable must be set appropriately.
The CLASSPATH should contain the following three files along with the installation of a JDK/JVM.

xsu12.jar
ojdbc14.jar (with Jdk 1.4 or higher)
xmlparserv2.jar
xdb.jar
