Client system: VMWare guest with 2 Xeon x5670 procs, 8GB RAM, 64-bit OS, Windows 2008 R2 Enterpirse SP1, AVDF Agent version 22.214.171.124
The AVDF agent process, prunsrv.exe, starts with 100 MB of memory but grows to over 1.5G in under 24 hours at that point the agent becomes unreachable. The process must be manually killed and the agent restarted. It's a Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise server with Service Pack 1.
I've installed JRE7 u80, JRE8 update 101, 111, and 121 - the memory usage issue is present on all. I've also installed the agent on a VirtualBox VM running the same OS and service pack with the same results. Nothing shows in any of the agent logs until the prunsrv.exe process reaches maximum RAM and then the av.common log gets this error multiple times:
