Symptoms
After upgrading the TNSListener to 12.1.x the Listener log is filling up very quickly with the following errors:
On the same machine, there is a 9.2 Database in a separate ORACLE_HOME that has been started.
Changes
There was an upgrade of the Listener to 12c or an installation of a very old Database such as 9i
